Abstract

This article makes an analysis and a proposal for the application of Design Thinking methodology as a tool for the use of Learning and Knowledge Technologies (TAC) in University Education. The use of technologies in education is considered an innovation. Accordingly, recent theoretical approaches have the function of serving as means to enhance learning and the construction of knowledge. In light of technological advances, universities are challenged to train a professional with cognitive, technical, personal and interpersonal skills capable of facing a changing and complex society. The TAC produces innovative changes in university institutions. However, selecting the best tools to tackle the educational fact is not an easy task. Therefore, the use of design thinking methodology would facilitate its creation and implementation. It consists of a methodology structured in five (5) steps that systematize the creative and innovative process in the construction of didactic instruments. In short, the application of this method on the use of the TAC, represents a contribution to the implementation of innovations in university education.
